A Small Walk in Mill Creek Regional Park near the Kelowna Airport

Monday March 25, 2024 -- A small hike today with a dear friend and two girls who don't do a lot of walking but thoroughly enjoyed the walk along Mill Creek near the Kelowna Airport!

Mill Creek Regional Park is a small park with a trail which follows a little over one kilometer of the creek through rather thick forest on a nice dirt trail, past several small waterfalls. To make it interesting, there is a bridge and some stairs as well as a boardwalk, and a couple of adventurous spots along the trail (In fact, we crossed a small section of remaining hard-packed ice). We also had fun climbing on the rocks along the water. 

In total, walking into the park (even past the park boundary) and back was about 2.5 kilometers, just perfect for a small afternoon outing.
