Easy Stroll in the Shannon Lake Regional Park in West Kelowna

Friday May 10, 2025 -- Heading back home soon, and spent an overnight at my daughter's apartment in West Kelowna. The weather is still pretty good, and we did a leisurely walk along Shannon Lake in the Shannon Lake Regional Park. Unfortunately you cannot walk around the entire lake because there is a golf course at the north end of the lake, and the grounds are off limits. It was about 1 km in each direction. We started at the parking lot at 11:20, and got back at shortly after noon, so just a 40-minute walk.

Shannon Lake Regional Park is just a strip aong the lake. We followed what is called the Eagle Trail.

This would be the native word for "eagle". We are on the "Eagle Trail".

This is as far as we could go, as the golf course was off limits.

Not sure what she is pointing at!

Back near the start again....
