Okanagan 2018: Hike in Kalamalka Lake Provincial Park

May 5, 2018 --  Perfect hiking weather for this easy 7 km loop hike from the NE parking lot at the start of the High Rim Trail. The blossoming trees and bright yellow Spring Sunflowers made it very special. The trail was fantastic and covered lots of different terrains including dark forests. Best view was just before descending to Cosens Bay. We even saw deer, but they were too far away to photograph.

Even though the hike was not strenuous, I wouldn't want to do it on a hot summer day.
